Uncharted territory; 3-0 after 60 minutes. Sit back and enjoy the remaining 30.

Cardiff were well beaten. They produced little.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Cardiff - Official Match Thread
Blind and deluded if he thinks they deserved anything other than a sound defeat. They barely touched the ball in the first 10 minutes or even got into our area until the actual penalty. Granted they then had a decent 10 mins- or we had a shit one, but we were in total control and it could or should have been 2-0 to us after the first 15 minutes.

Good to see a bottom half team come to us and be dispatched like they ought to be. Minimum fuss, just enough effort as required.

They didnt deserve anything from the game after they started timewasting after 20 mins

BBC... Cardiff manager Neil Warnock: "I don't know how we lost the game, let alone 3-1. I called Manuel over and said 'how are we losing 3-0?' And he said: 'I don't know'.

Well Colin I'll do your job for you.... goal 1 was a pathetic bit of defending where 2 of your players could not clear a header no further than a few inches... you keeper had a shot that went straight through him... 0-1.... the second you was as wide open as katie Price's legs to a 2nd division pro footballer and your goalkeeper got nutmegged... 0-2... and the third you can't defend corners and you have no one on the near post... 03 you fucking useless cunt...

not sure which game he was watching...his senses are disappearing at the same rate as his hairline and eyebrows..

BBC... Cardiff manager Neil Warnock: "I don't know how we lost the game, let alone 3-1. I called Manuel over and said 'how are we losing 3-0?' And he said: 'I don't know'.

We got into gear for about 15 mins and could have scored 5 in that time.

absolute result that AC did not get injured as he left the bench and warmed up

Other than the goals, what I liked most about Perez was how he took them. The bloke has hardly played any football for ages and we laughed at spending the equivalent of one of Jordan Hugill's legs on him.

Looked really sharp, in body mind and technique, could be a massive influence this season.

We never got out of third gear and still beat them easily... not sure exactly if we are now BRILLIANT or maybe Cardiff are fucking trash.... I'm not sure I have seen a more pathetic limp wristed effort from a so called Prem team in the 2nd half... they are doomed

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Cardiff - Official Match Thread
Cardiff failed totally to put our changed back four to the test last night. I thought that they would exploit Antonio but, clearly under managers orders, he kept Cardiff’s left flank busy defending against his incursions. We could have wrapped the game up in the first half and nearly went in one down due to our own profligacy and Arnie’s stupidity.

Plenty of empty seats but a good atmosphere.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Cardiff - Official Match Thread
Good performance last night, created loads of chances and nice to see Perez come on and bag two. If he gets a run of games he will score goals. Thought Diop and Snodders were class last night, and as always Deccers was class.

Special mention to Antonio, thought he did very well last night and put the game to bed with the third too. Anderson too is growing into the player we thought we signed, thought Diagana put in another good showing from the bench.

Overall a very good evening for us, played some good football.....created lots of chances and had players step up from the bench. Roll on saturday, win then and we get back into the mini-league above us

Only 5 points off 6th!........Irons

We have a selection of players who can cope and play well with the lower end of the table, and a selection who can deal with mid to Top 6.

Our lower table team played last night and did their job.

We need that extra injection of money to get us to compete with the Top 6.

Nowhere near our best XI out last night. We were the better team but can play better. Scored 3 and could of had more. Definitely heading in the right direction.

one of my favourite moments last night must have been when we strung about 30 passes together, cardiff couldnt get near the ball with the whole stadium shouting OLE

I know it was only cardiff but lovely to watch west ham attack and hold the ball so well

"Good on Perez and Chico getting their braces but we're looking like we have a real chance to push on. A top quality striker is going to be needed for us to achieve that"

I think Chico is a top goalscorer. If he played every game he'd get between 15 and 20 goals a season.
Who out there can do that who we could get?

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Cardiff - Official Match Thread
Could it be because they missed a penalty, were shit in defence, toothless in attack and second to everything in midfield? All this against a West Ham team that was only really firing on all cylinders for a total of about 35 minutes?

Biggie Biggs 9:31 Wed Dec 5
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Cardiff - Official Match Thread
Funny to see Warnock saying he has no idea how Cardiff lost that game let alone 3-1 .

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Cardiff - Official Match Thread
Arnie's really not THAT great and misses too many chances too.He certainly rates himself very highly though.

Bit of a strange game as we weren't that great then were 3 up from nowhere. The pen miss was clearly a key point in the match.

Good to see Antonio getting some form back.

And how good is it to see us going all out for a 4th, instead of shutting up shop at 1-0 - as was the case under a certain nameless GHOST FACED SCOTCH CUNT manager?
